Our Response to COVID-19

Sitike Counseling Center’s (Sitike) primary focus amidst the global COVID-19 pandemic is the health and safety of our clients, staff, and broader Bay Area community. We remain committed to providing our essential addiction, mental health, and violence prevention programs during this unprecedented time.

Since the shelter-in-place order took effect on March 17th, 2020 we have been regularly reviewing and updating our policies and procedures based on current recommendations from the San Mateo County Health Department and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to ensure we are addressing and mitigating the risk of infection and exposure for both our clients and staff.

The Sitike team is working remotely and utilizing telehealth alternatives to reach and engage clients enrolled in our individual and group treatment programs. Our leadership team has begun to meet regularly to assess our readiness for a phased “re-opening” in accordance with local and state shelter-in-place orders.

As this situation continues to develop, we will continue to adapt and our practices will continue to evolve with a continued focus on the health and safety of our clients and staff. Please check back here for additional updates and utilize the resources below for additional information:
